While the 355M can use smokeless and selected bituminous coals, dry wood or peat briquettes, boiler output varies according to the type of solid fuel used; smokeless fuel can generate up to 55,000 Btu/h, 16.1kW sufficient for hot water and central heating up to 12 radiators. Wood can generate up to 35,000 Btu/h, 10.2kW. The second oven is a warming oven. The cooking/heating priority switch allows you to give priority to cooking or heating at any one time, while hot water and a full cooking facility can be provided throughout the duration of a power cut.
